BEST WISHES ON TEMPORARY LEAVE OF ABSENCE

[DATE, ex. Friday, August 17, 2007]

[NAME, COMPANY AND ADDRESS, ex.

Jill Smith

XYZ Inc.

1234 First Street

Suite 567

Anycity, Anystate 85245]

Dear [NAME, ex. John Smith],

I was very happy to hear that you are finally taking some time off to spend with your family.

Although you are an integral member of the team, you had worked so hard during this critical period at the company, that I was becoming concerned for you.

Don't worry at all about things here. We will all pull together and make sure that things are in tip-top shape for your return.

Take care and see you soon.

Best regards,

[YOUR NAME, ex. John Jones]

Dear Dr. Rufty,

I am writing this letter to request a leave of absence for the
forthcoming fall semester. My husband will be relocating outside of
North Carolina for employment purposes. To ease the complications
associated with the move and looking towards the best interest of our
two-year-old daughter, I am considering this option.

I will very much appreciate if you could kindly consider my situation
and grant my request.

Thanking you,

Sincerely,
